3 Obligations a Day - no more, no less

As a recovering perfectionist and achievement junkie, I still struggle with balancing productivity with everything else I feel obligated to, even my family if I’m being brutally honest.

One strategy that has worked wonders for me is the Three-Obligation Strategy. Depending on the kind of day I’m having, those three things may be significant tasks or more restful activities.

Here’s how it works:

  • Day One: Laundry, cook homemade dinner, text my besties to let them know I love them.

  • Day Two: Go to bed early, get a pedicure, catch up on the bills & budget.

  • Day Three: Take a long walk in the sunshine, read a book with my kiddo, empty the dishwasher.

This approach ensures I accomplish something each day while remaining flexible to my current needs. It helps maintain a sense of achievement without overwhelming myself.

Try out the Three-Obligation Strategy and see how it transforms your daily routine.
