I am closing my doors…

Even as an introvert, I've felt the pressure to show up at every event I’m invited to, both personally and professionally.

This year, I hit a breaking point. At the start of this year, I was just absolutely drained.  I logged in for my very first coaching session with my new coach (who I hired to help me with my business) and through tears, I said, “So I think I’m going to close my doors!”

She laughed, and said, “Oh! Okay! You’re a real entrepreneur!”

I’ll literally never forget that moment.

It was a wake-up call, a sign that something was seriously out of balance.

This experience led me to prioritize myself, my family, and my life even more than I already had been. We all need a wake-up call sometimes.

It's about identifying the things that bring us joy—big or small—and intentionally incorporating them into our daily lives.
